What do you do with a boy?!?

This is a guest post from the Cuddler to the Plum. It has been one year since I found out that you were a little boy. I had thought you were a little boy in the beginning but Morning Guy convinced me that you were a little girl. I just knew the sonogram would reveal a girl. I had a girl name picked and a pink pattern for your bedding selected. So, when they said, "it's a boy!!!" My first reaction was, what I am going to do with a boy!?!?

Well Plum, after eight months as your mother, I now know what to do a with a little boy. For starters, love you with every fiber of being. I spent a lot of time in the beginning cleaning up tinkle from the walls, carpets, me, you, etc. That is a reflection on me, not you.

I use to be a mass exodus for our expendable income. Now, I am trying out a budget so Morning Guy can buy you a yellow jeep to tool around in with the wind blowing in your hair.

I spend my days telling you to stop chewing on electrical cords, trying to stop you from pulling Morning Guy's electric guitar over on yourself (which you do and the guitar slams into the tile floor), and calming the dogs down after you have herded them in your walker. I am a little embarrassed and amused when you laugh after you ram other children at daycare with your walker. I try not to smile when you spit bananas at me. I rake the azalea leaves out of your mouth after you eat them when I'm not looking.

I go to bed at night praying that God gives me the strength, patience, and understanding to be the best mother that I can be.

The Cuddler loves you very much Plum.

Going Green

We are going green, as you can see my shirt says so.

We are trying non-disposable diapers, formerly known as cloth diapers. Now, they are less cloth and easier to use. The Cuddler is trying it to help with my sensitive skin. She talked to her friend Brooke and has been really pleased. I only use them when I am home. Going green (and looking fabulous) is an added bonus of our new diapers!

So, it is unanimous that I am "udderly adorable," my other shirt says so.

I think I've got a pretty good start on it.

The Cuddler is back.

Well, I have spent a lot of time with my Nonnie and PawPaw lately. First, the Cuddler had her gallbladder out a couple of weeks ago so I went to hang out with Nonnie and PawPaw while she recovered.

Then, all of the sudden Thursday morning Miss Ashley showed up before dawn and took her to the beach. She got back this Sunday. Miss Anna and Miss Jessica went too. They all represent a different time in the Cuddler's life, with some overlapping, high school-Miss Jessica, college-Miss Anna, and law school-Miss Ashley. She is lucky to have them.

I spent Friday and Saturday night with Nonnie and PawPaw. Morning Guy stayed too. I got to get in the pool for the first time and LOVED it. I can't wait for more of that this weekend.

Since the Cuddler and Morning Guy never feed me enough, I have decided to try out my toes...

They were not nearly as tasty as I thought they would be.

Bananas

When Life gives you bananas, you spit them back at Life (a.k.a. the Cuddler) motorboat style, laugh, and tell Life that you don't want no stinkin bananas.

You want banana pudding.

Splish Splash

I have out grown my blue whale tub, but I'm not quite ready for the big bath tub. So, I have been taking my baths in our kitchen sink. I don't know how sanitary this is. Here are some pictures of me splishing and splashing. The Cuddler has to get beach towels to mop up all the water from the floor. It's not like she has anything else to do.

long time no blog.

Sorry for my lack of blogging. Our Internet was down for a while, and then the
Cuddler went to Washington DC last week. Morning Guy requires a lot of attention when the Cuddler is gone so there was no time to blog.

Morning Guy and I have been spending a lot of time together lately. We went on an adventure to Rocky Springs. I really enjoyed our nature walk.

After that we went to my PawPaw's for Guys' Night. He does it every Wednesday night, I have a standing invitation. Here I am sitting on the grill watching my PawPaw cook us dinner. Don't worry, we weren't grilling.

Morning Guy says this is a glimpse into my college life.

Morning Guy and I played hookie the other day while the Cuddler went to work. We went and visited my Granny at her office. Don't we look good together?

Then, we went and visited my PawPaw at his office. My PawPaw buys and sells scrap metal. These are some his customers. They call themselves Gypsies. I'm not sure what it means, but they seemed to think that I was pretty great. In this pricture, Boaz, the Plum, Alex, and Cheeseburger.

I have more to say, but it is late and time for bed.

Oh the humanity!

Tornados,

Oil slicks,

And

Grass.

That’s right my people, GRASS! Even with all the bad things happening around us, I can’t believe that grass doesn’t get some attention.

The Cuddler and Morning Guy took me to have my picture taken by lovely Mrs. Katie from Mary Moments. We all got dressed up in our Easter outfits, mine was handmade by Mrs. Torey. Then, they put me in the grass. Can you believe their nerve? Why would I want to sit in the grass?!?!?!?! Here is what I thought about that.

And I didn't let it go either. I told them about it all during our session.
Don’t you love how Morning Guy looks like he is posing for Ralph Lauren in this one?

Why are they smiling?

The Cuddler can’t believe she wasted her time and money on this picture.
